Hi Mr. Prosper–
I desperately need some advice..by the way thank you for all the information you have shared on you tube and this site. i am planning my mothers 60th bday on sept. 26, 2009. it will be at a park and i am really worried about the sun. my plan was to build a ballon column. Will it be worth my time to build this column at a park, where the wind and the sun will meet to destroy my creation. i really feel the ballon columns will be the main accessory at this party..Please advise.
Thank you for your time -
Hi Roanna,
Balloon columns are indeed your only option for the outside. Don’t expect it to be the same as on the inside, but it is doable. Yes, the sun will beat down on them and the wind may sway them, but as long as you have heavy and solid foundations such as using large concrete blocks for your weights you should be fine. See this post, and notice how I did this outside rainbow arch. It was a large concrete block wrapped in foil. See http://www.prosperballoons.com/color-coordination/balloon-decoration-secret-do-you-know-the-6-steps-of-balloon-arch-rainbow-color-coordination/
Best wishes,
Charles Prosper

Atentamente,
Charles Prosper

I see ur offer for your digital start-up kit but do not possess a computer. All of my web access is through my cell phone. I wasn’t even able to download your three free chapters. So is there a start-up kit that is more DVD based? I’d even settle for VHS. I just don’t have the tools necessery for digital. Thank! By the way… Your utube videos are great and have given me and my girlfriends alot of ideas. We have 5 birthdays and 2 weddings coming up!

Hi Heather,
See if you can get a friend to download it for you on their computer. Everything is now digital.

Hi i just want to know about the tying of the balloons. We did a wedding for my nephew about six months ago and our fingers were all blistered from tying the balloons. Is there a secret to that?

Well, it hard to say, but I am almost sure that you are not opening your fingers up wide enough to slip in and hook the knot. Your index fingers are probably squashed together by the balloon stem as you attempt to tie it, and you are forcing a tightly wrapped balloon stem repeatedly over your fingers.
