By December of 1988 a trade magazine had sprung up - Balloons Today Magazine, which featured the "new kid on the block", Charles Prosper. In this year, Charles set the standard by which all present-day balloon artists are measured today when he introduced two of his most famous creations, the balloon tuxedo men and the balloon flowers.

Charles Prosper's School of Balloon Decorating students show off their diplomas after successfully completing the 2-Day hands-on intensive class given by Charles Prosper (middle) in October of 1996. Only months later, many of these same grads pictured have begun decorating for the many parties, conventions and gala events that Las Vegas is famous for. In fact, on October 17 of 1997, exactly one year later, Luz Estela Curvelo, pictured here, stooping slightly, in the middle, on the right-hand side, pictured with her husband Gustavo Curvelo standing above her in the striped shirt had the Grand Opening for their brand new balloon and party store Balloon Celebrations located in a very attractive shopping mall of Las Vegas. Miami, Florida got their first experience with Charles Prosper in November of 1996. Miami balloon enthusiasts had been waiting for more than a year for the arrival of Charles' class. The class booked out 3 months ahead of schedule! Of this group, there have been at least four students that we personally know who have started their balloon businesses for home.
Ft. Lauderdale Graduates!

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida entered the ranks as professional balloon artists in Jamuary of 1997 when Charles gave his famous 2-day hands-on seminar. Two of the graduates pictured, the third and fourth from the left, are two sisters who flew all the way from the Jamaican Islands to take advantage of the opportunity to be taught in person by the master himself and be able to go back to their city of Kingston and start their balloon enterprise there; the last report that we received from them is that they are on their way to becoming "the sensation of the islands!"

Nancy Arechiga, the youngest graduate and entrepreneur here is only 14 years old (on the right side kneeling in blue jeans); just imagine where she'll be in about 10 years or so! Charles Prosper has helped persons of all ages, backgrounds and situations to become successful.

México, D.F. couldn't get enough of Charles Prosper in November of 1995 when he wow-ed them with a special Christmas design class. People were still fighting at the door to get in after we had to closed the enrollments. During this period while in México, Charles also gave classes in the Mexican cities of Guadalajara, Pachuca, and Querétero.
